Membership
Membership of GCC is open to all persons who are not below 18 years of age. Students above 18 years are also eligible for membership of the club. The interested persons may apply in a specified form which could be procured from the GCC office during the screening of films or may be downloaded from the website. The membership will be offered after submission of duly filled up form along with requisite membership fee.
Categories of Membership
Life Member
Life membership shall continue for the entire period of the member’s life. The membership subscription for a Life Membership shall be Rs. 5000/-.Annual Single Member
Annual Ordinary Membership is open to all individual. The annual single membership fee shall be Rs. 500/-.Annual Joint Member
Annual Joint Membership is open to husband and wife jointly with membership fee of Rs. 700/-.Student Member
Student Associate Membership is open to bonafide students, not below the age of 18, belonging to institution recognized by the government of India, a State Government or Board of Secondary Education or University. The Student Associate Members should produce their proof of age from the Head of the Institutions concerned. The membership fee is Rs. 300/-.
Privileges
All categories of members shall be admitted to the Film Shows, Functions, Seminars, and Socials etc. of the club free of cost or on payment of such contribution as may be determined by the Executive Committee from time to time. Right to take advantage of other amenities the Club may provide. Right to attend, vote and table resolutions at General Body Meeting. Right to take part in Elections to the Executive Committee.
Membership fees shall be paid in cash or cheque in favour of Gauhati Cine Club . The membership of the Club shall be renewed in every year by depositing requisite fees.
